It rang, but no one ever answered the phone. If they didnt answer the phone, I couldnt hear a single thing.

Instawork allowed their client to refuse my pay behind a clock-in 'confusion.' I showed up early in uniform, clocked in, worked my shift, and clocked out. They went in that night and changed my hours, then said I was sent home because I wasn't needed to ensure they didn't have to pay me for my work. If I have to seek legal representation over $87, I will because I don't work for free.

My background was cleared for me to start booking shifts last Tuesday. I booked a long-term shift and a short term at Desiwork on the 23rd.
I went to work and worked my shift; then after work, the app canceled my long-term shift on their own, saying I was not cleared for my background yet. Which was weird because if I wasn't cleared, then how was I able to work?
I didn't get paid yet! Now my account is locked.

I was told to wait 4 hours for a gamer to help me after I told them I didnt get paid for a shift 3 days ago that I chose instant for, 7hours passed and I still didnt get any help or response back I ended up contacting them again myself and then they told me the samething, I have to wait 4 hours. Its no way they have me working without pay something has to be done asap. This is my only source of income and I have bills waiting to be paid right now.

They haven't paid me anything but InstaPay and there's no human to talk to.
I was supposed to get paid for September and October, but none of the payments ever showed up in my checking account. The first problem was that they had another checking account that wasn't mine, but that only happened for one payment.
The rest of them should have gone directly into my bank account, but I haven't seen a dime from them yet. I cannot connect to a human being by any means, and they say that a specialist will call me in 4 hours, and no specialist ever calls me.
Their help center goes down every single day too, and it is frustrating! I'm not going to work a damn shift until I get paid.

On the 18th of August, I was supposed to do a job for S and S Retail Group at a Michael's in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. I showed up to the location 30 minutes early.
I went in and looked for their representative. I found nobody. Uh, closing time came at 9 o'clock, and then I asked the two employees on shift that night if they knew anything about S and S being there or any kind of reset and they said no, and that they had also been taken off the list two weeks prior to that night. So yeah, oh, not to mention S and S now doing a no call, no show.
By your company policy, when the business cancels 24 hours or less without notice, um, I have the right to four hours' worth of pay or whatever it was. But, um, yeah, so I need to collect that. This is going on *** close to a week now.
This is ridiculous. I just keep getting the runaround.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. All they did for me was reinstate the account a week later. Make sure to contact the place of your shifts company itself and have them message Instawork.
So I worked for the Instawork app today and went to a Google research center where I was to take selfies with different devices, and this was to help Google get better. It was a blast, but then I went back and checked the app, and it says they deactivated my account for a no call no show!!!
I have proof I was there, and nobody is getting back to me!!! I quit my regular job to do this, and now it's gone. I hope something can get done about this.
I'm livid. The front desk attendant told me not to worry about clocking in, that she would do it for me, so I listened and then this happened.
